Stone Arch Books builds on the outstanding success which our sister company, Capstone Press, has achieved in the area of high-interest non-fiction: appealing series, bold art, and a strong connections with curriculum standards.
Stone Arch Books was established in answer to the need for high interest fiction for the more than 67% of current U.S. Students who are reading at below-grade levels.
Stone Arch Books believes that struggling and reluctant readers deserve quality stories, innovative artwork, and most of all, a sense of fun when they are confronted with opening up a new book.
Our traditional chapter-format novels and our cool, safe graphic novels have been approved by reading consultants and librarians from around the country. Our passion is to reach the previously unreachable readers, especially boy readers, and to turn them, one by one, story by story, into book lovers.
